Bus Éireann announce almost 200 new jobs

Bus Éireann have today announced a campaign to recruit almost 200 new staff for roles across the country. This includes 190 new driver positions and additional mechanic jobs, to service the ongoing expansion of the national network.

Cork TY student announced as regional winner of Bus Éireann’s ‘Go Places’ competition

The winner of the Bus Éireann ‘Go Places’ competition for the South region has been announced. Jane Tiernan from Christ King Secondary School in Douglas, Co. Cork won the regional prize for the Bus Éireann competition which invited Transition Year students from all over the country to submit projects – in words, photographs, or videos – about their journey to school.

The winner of the Bus Éireann ‘Go Places’ competition from the East has been announced. Ruairí Meehan from Dunshaughlin Community School Co. Meath won the regional prize for the Bus Éireann competition which invited Transition Year students from all over the country to submit projects – in words, photographs, or videos – about their journey to school.

TY student from Blacklion, Co Cavan announced as both West region and overall National winner of Bus

The West of Ireland’s regional winner of the Bus Éireann ‘Go Places’ competition has been announced. Alannah Doherty, a Transition Year student who attends St. Clare Comprehensive school Manorhamilton, won the hearts and minds of the judges with her creative photo diary.

New timetable for Expressway Route 30/X30

Bus Éireann will introduce a new route 30 / X30 timetable from this Sunday, 11 February. The enhanced timetable will offer additional services between Donegal – Ballyshannon – Enniskillen – Cavan – Virginia – Dublin Airport – Dublin City and provide a service every 90 minutes in each direction throughout the day.
