At approximately 8.50am this morning, there was an accident involving a sub-contracted vehicle on one of the company’s school transport services.

New timetable for Expressway Route 30/X30

Bus Éireann will introduce a new route 30 / X30 timetable from this Sunday, 11 February. The enhanced timetable will offer additional services between Donegal – Ballyshannon – Enniskillen – Cavan – Virginia – Dublin Airport – Dublin City and provide a service every 90 minutes in each direction throughout the day.

Chairman announces Senior Appointments at Bus Éireann

Today, Bus Éireann are pleased to announce a number of senior management positions led by the formal appointment of Mr Ray Hernan as Chief Executive Officer of Bus Éireann. Mr Hernan has held this position in an acting capacity for the last year, leading a significant change programme for the company, to restore the finances of the business and strengthen its competitive position in the market.

Limerick hurling star Tom Morrissey and Limerick’s under 21’s Hurling Manager, Pat Donnelly visited St John the Baptist Community School in Hospital, Co Limerick to promote the Bus Éireann competition for transition year students – ‘Go Places’.
