Expressway, Bus Éireann’s premium coach service is delighted to partner with Age & Opportunity’s Bealtaine Festival 2024, offering passengers direct and regular services to their favourite events nationwide.

Expressway Coach

Events range from music and choral performances to visual art, theatre, writing workshops, dance, literature, circus, discussions on aging diversity, film screenings, storytelling and much more. The festival is developed by Age & Opportunity and is funded by the Arts Council and the HSE, supported by communities nationwide and a vast and accomplished array of local and national bodies.

Bealtaine Festival is an annual festival, which runs nationwide for the month of May and the theme this year is ‘Lust for Life’, celebrating Ireland’s arts and creativity as we age. Expressway provides direct and regular coach services on 14 routes across Ireland and offers the quickest and easiest way for you to travel to any of the events featured at https://bealtaine.ie/. Booking with Expressway

All Expressway passengers are welcome to walk up and will be boarded on a first-come first-served basis subject to capacity constraints. All passengers have the option to book a ticket either online or at an in-station Ticket Vending Machines, which guarantees a seat for a particular service. For customers who prefer not to use the internet, we have also the option to make a Seat Only Reservation for future dates from our Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) which are conveniently located at the following key locations and Bus Stations around the country: Athlone, Cork, Cork Airport, Dublin (Busáras), Dublin Airport, Ballina, Drogheda, Dundalk, Ennis, Galway, Killarney, Letterkenny, Limerick, Shannon Airport, Sligo, Tralee, Waterford.

Passengers who already hold a valid method of travel, including Free Travel Pass users, have the option of guaranteeing a seat on a particular service by making a seat reservation online or using a Ticket Vending Machine for the low fee of €2.00 per leg of the journey. Any passengers who have pre-booked a ticket for a particular service should be given priority boarding at each stop. Tickets can be purchased online at expressway.ie up to five minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time at that stop. Passengers who have booked seats online will automatically receive a notification in the event of any service changes.
