Road Closure - Route 216, South Mall - Mount Oval

Cork County Council have advised that the L 2472 from the junction of Moneygourney Road and Belmont Housing Estate to the junction of Moneygourney Road and Foxwood Drive will be closed to public traffic from 09:00 on Tuesday, 1 November to Friday, 4 November 2011.

As a result of this road closure, Route 216, South Mall - Mount Oval will operate as follows:

Outbound to Mount Oval:  Services will operate as normal as far as the Fingerpost Roundabout, Douglas.  Services will then operate via Maryborough Hill to Foxwood Estate, where service will terminate. 

Route 216, Inbound to City Centre:  Buses will depart from temporary bus stop which will be located opposite Foxwood Housing Estate.  Services will operate normal service from this bus stop thereafter.

Clarkes Hill, Garryduff, will not be served while these roadworks are undergoing.
