Holidaymakers can save money and reduce stress even before they take-off with Bus Éireann’s hundreds of daily services from around the country to Ireland’s major airports.
Bus Éireann provides the most comprehensive network of services to Irish airports with regular services from across the country to Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport, Cork Airport, Ireland West Airport Knock and Kerry Airport. Bus Éireann offers a range of direct routes to the airports from a wide range of locations, as well as connecting services from around the country via its integrated national network.
The following services are available to and from Irish airports:
Dublin Airport – More than 420 daily services from 18 direct routes or connections from Busaras via Dublin Bus Airlink. These include late night and early morning services to and from destinations such as Galway, Belfast, Donegal, Waterford and Derry.

The X20 Galway-Dublin Airport-Dublin city provides the fastest coach service from Galway city to Dublin Airport with a journey time of just 2hrs 50 minutes. From Galway, the X20 serves only Loughrea, Ballinasloe and Athlone, and then goes direct from Athlone to Dublin Airport and Dublin city via the M6 motorway. From Athlone to Dublin Airport the journey time is just 1 hour 20 minutes. It has 13 daily services.
Route 1 Expressway Dublin-Dublin Airport-Belfast service, which is the only 24 hour inter-regional service on the island and has a journey time of 2hrs 25 minutes.
Donegal-Dublin Airport-Dublin, which includes a 1am service ex Donegal for customers catching early morning flights.
Cork Airport – More than 100 daily services including a frequent direct coach service between Cork Airport and Cork city centre (Parnell Place), which can be used to connect to the integrated network to travel to the rest of Cork and country. Bus Éireann’s improved bus service to Cork Airport (Route 226) operates to / from Cork Airport via the South Link Road and will also be extended to serve Kent Railway Station.
Shannon Airport – More than 130 daily services with all services on the Galway/Limerick/Cork corridor passing through the Airport. Customers can also avail of frequent services between Shannon Airport and Ennis or the direct 343 coach service between Shannon Airport and Limerick City.
Ireland West Airport Knock – 24 services a day to the Airport – 14 daily services. Ireland West Knock has direct connections to Galway and Sligo, where passengers can also avail of the Bus Éireann integrated network.
Kerry Airport – 20 services a day to Kerry Airport from locations such as Tralee, Killarney, Cork, Waterford, Rosslare Harbour, Limerick and Castleisland. Customers can connect to the company’s entire integrated network at Cork and Limerick bus stations.
