Bus Éireann statement on Irish couple's death in Tunisia terror attack

Bus Éireann would like to extend its deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of Larry Hayes and his wife Martina, who died in the terrorist attack at Sousse resort in Tunisia.

Larry Hayes was a Bus Éireann Schools Transport inspector, who had 20 years service with the company, and was based in Athlone. He started his career at the company working as a bus driver in Galway.

Larry was highly regarded on both a personal and professional level, and will be missed greatly by all his colleagues at Bus Éireann.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the couple's daughter at this difficult time, and all the extended family.

There will be no further comment at this time.
