Bus Éireann Extends Red Express Service to Eight Manchester United Home Games in 2009

Manchester United fans can now make the trip from Dublin to Old Trafford for Premiership games in 2009 for just €79 return following the extension of Bus Éireann’s Red Express service.

Due to popular demand, Manchester United fans can now travel to the Theatre of Dreams for €79 return for the following fixtures:

Chelsea (January 11th), Blackburn (Feb 21st), Portsmouth (Feb 28th), Liverpool (March 14th), Aston Villa (April 4th), Tottenham (April 25th), Man City (May 3rd) and Arsenal (May 16th).

The service departs from Busáras on Saturday mornings (Sunday morning for the Chelsea fixture) and makes its way to Manchester by early afternoon via the Dublin to Holyhead Stena Line sailing. The service will leave from Manchester later that evening.

Adult tickets are €79 return for adults, and €69 return for students and children under 16. Match ticket is not included. Tickets are available from www.buseireann.ie.

“Ireland’s large number of Manchester United fans of all ages can now enjoy the comfort of coach travel from Dublin city centre to the home of their heroes at a great value price,” said Andrew McLindon, Media and PR Manager, Bus Éireann.

If kick-off times for any of the matches are changed from 3pm (4pm for the Chelsea match) to early morning, Bus Éireann won’t be in a position to provide transport and passengers will receive a full refund.
