Bus Éireann Introduces Service to Seven Liverpool FC Home Games in 2009

Liverpool FC fans can now make the trip from Dublin to Anfield for Premiership games in 2009 for just €79 return following the introduction of Bus Éireann’s new service.

Liverpool FC fans now can travel to Anfield for €79 return for the following fixtures: Chelsea (February 1st), Manchester City (February 21st), Aston Villa (March 21st), Blackburn (April 11th), Arsenal (April 18th), Newcastle (May 2nd), Tottenham Hotspur (May 24th).

The service departs from Busáras on Saturday mornings (Sunday mornings for the Chelsea and Tottenham fixtures) and arrives in Liverpool by early afternoon via the Dublin to Holyhead Stena Line sailing. The service will leave from Liverpool later that evening.

Tickets for each service are €79 return for adults, and €69 return for students and children under 16. Match ticket is not included. Tickets for the service are available from www.buseireann.ie.

“Ireland’s huge number of Liverpool fans of all ages can now enjoy the comfort of coach travel from Dublin city centre to the home of their heroes at a great value price,” said Andrew McLindon, Media and PR Manager, Bus Éireann.

If kick-off times for any of the matches are changed from 3pm (4pm for the Chelsea and Tottenham matches) to early morning, Bus Éireann won’t be in a position to provide transport and passengers will receive a full refund.
