Bus Eireann service update 1 January 2010

Bus Eireann service update 1 January 2010

Due to bad road conditions, a number of Bus Eireann services to and from the Leinster region are currently cancelled, delayed or disrupted.

Although most services to and from Leinster are now operational, Bus Eireann is continuing to experience some delays and disruption to services in the region, and disruption earlier in the day has meant that several services will have to be curtailed from early evening.

All inter-city services from Dublin are now operating, apart from Dublin-Rosslare and Dublin-New Ross which are not operating. Dublin-Clonmel services are under review.

The last services from Dublin today on the following routes are:.

Dublin-Waterford 1815

Dublin-Galway is at 1800

Dublin-Sligo- 1745

Dublin-Donegal 1900 (1700 service will operate)

Dublin-Letterkenny 1845

Dublin-Limerick 1730

Dublin-Sligo 2045 is cancelled, but 0200 Sligo-Dublin will operate

Dublin-Derry – 1745

Commuter services from Dublin are operating with delays. The last two services on Dublin-Mullingar are cancelled.  Route 120 Dublin-Edenderry last service is at 1730. Route 133 Dublin-Arklow is operating, but all services to Arklow via Avoca are cancelled for today. Route 111 Dublin-Granard is only operating to Athboy. Route 126 2300 Dublin-Kildare service is cancelled. Route 104 all services between Ashbourne and Blanchardstown shopping centre are cancelled. Route 103 last service to Ashbourne is 1900.

Bus Eireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers travelling to and from Leinster especially to contact their local travel office for information on individual services.

Bus Eireann would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused.
