Manchester United and Liverpool Service to Home Games

Manchester United and Liverpool FC fans can make substantial savings on the cost of travelling to Premiership games with Bus Eireann’s football travel service.

Bus Éireann is currently offering return trips to homes games at Old Trafford and Anfield for just €79 return, which can be far cheaper than the cost of flights to Manchester and Liverpool during match weekends. In addition, fans don’t have to worry about accommodation costs as the individual services depart from the cities on the evening of the matches.

“Ireland’s huge number of Manchester United and Liverpool fans can now enjoy the comfort of coach travel from Dublin city centre to the homes of their heroes at a great value price and avoid the big costs of going to matches in England,” said Andrew McLindon, PR Manager, Bus Éireann.

Liverpool FC fans can currently travel to Anfield for €79 return for the following fixtures: Arsenal (Sunday, August 15th), West Brom (Saturday, August 28th), and Sunderland (Saturday, September 25th).

The services depart from Busáras on Saturday mornings (Sunday morning for the Arsenal game) and arrive in Liverpool by early afternoon via the Dublin to Holyhead Stena Line sailing. The service will leave from Liverpool later that evening and arrive in Dublin the next morning.

Manchester United fans can currently travel to the Theatre of Dreams for €79 return for the West Ham (Saturday, 28th August) and Tottenham (Saturday, 30th October) games.

The services depart from Busáras on Saturday mornings and make their way to Manchester by early afternoon via the Dublin to Holyhead Stena Line sailing. The service will leave from Manchester later that evening and arrive back in Dublin the next morning.

Tickets for the Manchester United and Liverpool services are €79 return for adults, and €69 return for students and children under 16. Match ticket is not included. Tickets for the service are available from www.buseireann.ie.

If kick-off times for any of the above matches are changed, Bus Éireann may not be in a position to provide transport and customers will receive a full refund.
