Alterations to Cork City Routes 202, 204, 207, 209 & 212
As part of an ongoing review of public transport services in Cork City undertaken by the National Transport Authority, Bus Eireann is pleased to announce the following timetable changes:
Route 202, Knocknaheeney – City Centre – Mahon
A revised timetable will be introduced on this route from Sunday, 25 August 2013 which will operate as follows:
- Monday to Friday: 15 minute frequency throughout the day with a 30 minute frequency in the evening.
- Saturday: 30 minute frequency in the morning, every 20 minutes in the afternoon and every 30 minutes in the evening.
- Sunday: 30 minute frequency throughout the day.
Route 204, Friars Walk – St Patrick St
As part of the ongoing review of services in Cork City the above route is being merged with current Route 209, Audley Place/Pouladuff – Patrick St and will operate as Route 209/209A, Pouladuff – City Centre – Audley Place – Glen Ave – City Centre. This change will be implemented from Monday, 26 August 2013.
Route 207, Ballyvolane – St Patrick St – Donnybrook
A revised timetable will be introduced on this route from Sunday, 25 August 2013 which will operate as follows:
- Monday to Friday: 30 minute frequency throughout the day.
- Saturday: 30 minute frequency throughout the day.
- Sunday: 30 minute frequency throughout the day.
- Now serves the Dublin Hill & Glenthorn Area replacing Route 212.
Route 209, Audley Place/Pouladuff – Patrick St
As part of the ongoing review of services in Cork City the above route is being merged with current Route 204, Friars Walk – Patrick St and will operate as Route 209/209A, Pouladuff – City Centre – Audley Place – Glen Ave – City Centre. This change will be implemented from Monday, 26 August 2013.
Route 212 – Glenthorn to Merchants Quay
Bus Eireann wishes to advise customers that as part of the ongoing review of services in Cork City that the above route will no longer operate from Monday, 26 August 2013. Customers who previously availed of this route can avail of the following services dependant on where they are located.
- Route 207 – Ballyvolane – St Patrick St - Donnybrook
- Route 209/209A – Pouladuff – City Centre – Audley Place – Glen Ave – City Centre
