Alterations to Limerick services during 'The Giant's Journey' event.
Bus Éireann wishes to advise passengers of alterations to Limerick City Services during the "The Giant's Journey" Event

City Services
Note: All cross city services will be split during the event
Route 301 Westbury
City Centre Bus Stops
On Friday and Saturday morning from 0900 until 1200 (the closure of Island Road) bus stops will be located at The Island Road (Island Road Stores) and The Island Road (Opposite Island Road Stores).
On Saturday afternoon, from 1200 until 2000 and Sunday
Bus Stops will be located at the Topaz station on the Corbally side of Grove Island.
Timetable
On Friday and Saturday Route 301 will operate to a 30 minute frequency as per the current timetable departing the city at 00, 30 past the hour
On Sunday from 1000 – 1600, services will operate to a 30 minute frequency departing the city at 00, 30 past the hour.
Route 301 Hyde Road/Father Russell Road/Raheen
City Centre Bus Stops
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all services will pick up/drop off at Limerick Bus Station (Bays 1 & 2). This service will operate via Hyde Road which will have a contra-flow system until Saturday at 2000.
Timetable
On Friday and Saturday a 30 minute frequency will operate as per current timetable departing the city at 10, 40 past the hour.
On Sunday from 10.00 until 16.00, a 30 minute frequency service will operate departing the city at 10, 40 past the hour.
Route 302 Caherdavin
City Centre Bus Stops
On Friday and Saturday morning from 0900 until 1200 (until closure of Clancy Strand), all services will operate as far as Clancy Strand until further road closures on Saturday afternoon and Sunday when increased levels of disruption take place. Services will stop for pick up and drop off at the Strand Hotel.
On Saturday afternoon from 1200 to 2000 and Sunday afternoon, services will depart from usual Caherdavin terminus, turn left onto Clonmacken Rd, via Condell Road and will drop off and pick up outside Live 95FM.

On Friday & Saturday, a 20 minute frequency will operate as per current timetable departing the City at 00, 20, 40 past the hour
On Sunday from 1000 until 1600, a 30 minute frequency service will operate departing the city at 00, 30 past the hour.
Route 303 O’Malley Park
City Centre Bus Stops
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
All services pick up/drop off at Limerick Bus Station (Bays 1 & 2). This service will operate via Hyde Road which will have a contra-flow system until Saturday at 2000.

On Friday and Saturday, a 30 minute frequency service will operate as per current timetable departing Limerick City at 15, 45 past the hour.
On Sunday from 10.00 until 16.00 approximately a 30 minute frequency will operate 15, 45 past the hour
Route 303 Moyross (amalgamated with Route 306 Ballynanty for 3 days)
Route will incorporate Ballynanty during the event.
City Centre Bus Stops
On Friday and Saturday morning from 0900 until 1200 (until closure of Clancy Strand) all services will operate as far as Clancy Strand until further road closures on Saturday afternoon and Sunday when increased levels of disruption take place.
On Saturday afternoon and Sunday Route 303 will incorporate Ballynanty and the terminus will be at Quarry Road in Thomondgate.

On Friday and Saturday, a 30 minute frequency will operate as per current timetable departing the city 00, 30 past the hour. On Sunday from 1000 until 1600, a 30 minute frequency will operate.
Route 304 UL
City Centre Bus Stops
All services will operate pick up/drop off at Gleeson’s Sport Shop except during Friday morning (until 1200) when drop off/pick up moved to The College of Further Education and travel outbound via Clare street.
Timetable
Services depart Friday and Saturday at a 15 minute frequency as per current timetable departing the city at 00, 15, 30, 45, past the hour. On Sunday, services depart from 1000 until 1600, at a 15 minute frequency.
Route 304 Ballycummin
City Centre Bus Stops
Friday Saturday & Sunday
All services pick up/drop off at Limerick Bus Station (Bays 1 & 2). This service will operate via Hyde Road which will have a contra-flow system until Saturday at 2000.
Timetable
On Friday and Saturday, a 15 minute frequency willl operate as per current timetable departing the city at 00, 15, 30, 45 past the hour. On Sunday from 1000 until 1600, a 15 minute frequency will operate as per weekdays.
Route 305 Lynwood
City Centre Bus Stops
All services will operate pick up/drop off at Gleeson’s Sport Shop except during Friday morning when drop off/pick up moved to the College of Further Education. On Friday services will have to travel to Lynwood via Clare Street and will have to operate into Lynwood via St Patricks Road.
Services will operate cross city to St Marys Park on Friday via Clare St and Island Road
Timetable
On Friday and Saturday a hourly frequency will operate departing the city on the hour
Route 305 St Marys Park
Services will operate cross city to Lynwood on Friday via Clare St and Island Road
City Centre Bus Stops Friday Only
Island Road or Mulgrave Street
No service on Saturday or Sunday
Route 306 Ballynanty
Amalgamated with Route 303 Moyross for the duration of the event.
Route 306 Edward St
Cancelled during the event. This area will be served by Route 301 Raheen.
EXPRESSWAY SERVICES
Route 12, Limerick/Dublin: All services will operate as normal via UL, Childers Road, Roxboro Road, and Careys Road to/from bus station. Contra flow in operation outside the bus station (Hyde Road Post Office)
Route13, Limerick/Tralee: All services to/from Limerick will operate via Hyde Road from Friday until Saturday evening. Contra flow in operation outside the bus station (Hyde Road Post Office)
Route 14, Limerick/Killarney: All services to/from Limerick will operate via Hyde Road from Friday until Saturday evening. Contra flow in operation outside the bus station (Hyde Road Post Office)
Route 51, Cork/Limerick: All services to/from Limerick will operate via Hyde Road from Friday until Saturday evening. Contra flow in operation outside the bus station (Hyde Road Post Office)
Route 51, Limerick/Galway: All services to/from Limerick will operate via the tunnel, Roxboro Road, Careys Road, Bus Station
Route X51, Limerick/Galway: All services to/from Limerick will operate via the tunnel, Roxboro Road, Careys Road, Bus Station
Route 55, Limerick Waterford: All services as normal via Roxboro Road, Careys Road to/from bus station. Contra flow in operation outside the bus station (Hyde Road Post Office)
STAGE CARRIAGE SERVICES
Route 313, Limerick/Ardnacrusha: Disruptions on all services and will operate via Corbally during the event.
Route 343, Limerick/Shannon/Ennis: All services will operate to and from Limerick Bus Station via the tunnel and will not serve the city centre.
All other Stage Carriage services to/from Limerick will depart from Limerick Bus Station only.
