Revised Cork City Route 216, Mount Oval to Cork University Hospital effective 13 September 2015
Following approval from the National Transport Authority, the following amendments to Route 216, Mount Oval to Cork University Hospital, Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be implemented from Sunday, 13 September 2015.
Route 216 has been extended to operate via Garryduff and Coach Hill, then turn left on to Rochestown Road and then turn left on to Clarkes Hill prior to terminating at Mt Oval Monswood Estate.
Trip times and departure times have been adjusted throughout:
- From Grand Parade to CUH, services will depart at 05 and 35 minutes past the hour
- From South Mall to Mount Oval, morning trips will depart at 07.25 and 07.55 and thereafter services will now depart at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour
- From Mount Oval to City and CUH, morning trips will depart at 07.25, 07.55 and 08.25 and thereafter services will depart at 05 and 35 minutes past the hour
- From CUH to City and Mount Oval, services will now depart at 05 and 35 minutes past the hour
Service will operate half hourly from approximately 07.00 to 19.00/ hourly after 19.00 Monday to Saturday and service will operate hourly all day Sunday.
The 18.35 and 19.35 trips Monday to Saturday, from Mount Oval will operate to the City Centre only
