Severe Weather Report

Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers that services are currently operating as per our Christmas Schedule with the following exceptions:

Cork 

40- 12:00; 13:00 and 14:00 ex Waterford to Cork cancelled. 16:40 Cork/Waterford cancelled.   All other services operating – Serving Midleton via Convent Road. Operating via Mogeely between Castlemartyr and Killeagh

51- Severe flooding in Mallow Town Park – Relief stops in Annabella in use until further notice

215 - Operating full route including Killeens 

220- Operating full route to Fountainstown

221- Operating full route to Glyntown                  

223- Operating to/from Glenbrook only.

233- Operating via Model Farm Road – Carrigrohane (Straight) Road closed;  Not serving Crookstown; Dripsey Mills also closed.

243- Severe flooding in Mallow Town Park – Relief stops in Annabella in use until further notice.

260- Serving Midleton via Convent Road. Operating via Mogeely between Castlemartyr and Killeagh.

261- Operating through Midleton via Riverside Way.

236- Operating via Baxter’s Bridge and Bandon bypass. Innishannon/Bandon road closed and not expected to re-open today.  All services diverted via Distilliary Road (The Old Still pub) between Bandon and Innishannon.

237- Operating via Bandon bypass. Innishannon/Bandon road closed and not expected to re-open today. All services diverted via Distillery Road (The Old Still pub) between Bandon and Innishannon. Skibbereen/Baltimore service now operating

238- Operating via Bandon bypass.  Innishannon/Bandon road closed and not expected to re-open today.  All services diverted via Distillery Road (The Old Still pub) between Bandon and Innishannon.

239- Operating via Bandon bypass – no service via Crossbarry.  Innishannon/Bandon road closed and not expected to re-open today.  All services diverted via Distillery Road (The Old Still pub) between Bandon and Innishannon.

245- Operating normal route through Sallybrook, Riverstown, Glanmire, As a result, of closure of bridge in Fermoy, the main bus stop in Fermoy cannot be served.  Passengers for Route X8 and Route 245 can access services on Cork side of Fermoy, at bus stop on Cork Road.

Cork County Council have advised that a free mini bus service in Fermoy to transport people between both sides of the town when the bridge is closed, via the toll road.  It will start at the Pearse Square side.

East & South East

133 – Rathdrum / Woodenbridge Rd has reopened, 18:50 ex Wicklow to Arklow via Rathdrum to operate

133 – Newtownmountkennedy to on ramp on M11 Northbound has reopened

Route 2- Enniscorthy is not being served in either direction. Services operating via Ballcanew (minibus temporarily picking up passengers at Petite’s Supervalu, Enniscorthy bringing passengers to connect with Route 2 in Gorey)

Route 4Thomastown closed to all traffic, services unable to pick up at Thomastown operating via M9 to Paulstown and Carlow

Route 40- Expressway operating via Mogeely between Castlemartyr and Killeagh. At present not serving WIT stop due to flooding on the Cork Road

Route 360- Waterford - Tramore- Flooding at Ballindud, diversions continuing via old Waterford / Tramore Road

Route 370- Flooding on the Wexford side of Wellingtonbridge causing minor delays on this service, diversions in place. 

City- Flooding on the Cork Road at RSC Roundabout, diversions in place

South West

Route 55-  Limerick/Waterford is operating with the exception of serving Fiddown and Kilsheelan
