Cork City Marathon Service Alterations

 

Bus Eireann would like to inform customers of the following diversions in place in Cork due to the Cork City marathon, taking place on Monday 6th June, from 08.00 to 19.00 hrs approx.

Customers are advised to expect delays due to traffic diversions and re-routing of services on some routes for the duration of the Marathon.

Northside Services

No. 202 Northside Shuttle to operate Cathedral Road, left onto Gerald Griffin St. and Sunvalley Drive

No.202 to Knocknaheeny

From 09:30 to 12:00 Shuttle Services as per Sunday timetable will depart from North Cathedral.

From 12:00 shuttle service will depart from St. Patricks Quay.

No.203 to Farranree

From 09:30 to 12:00 Shuttle Services as per Sunday timetable will depart from Commons Road.

From 12:00 shuttle service will depart from St. Patricks Quay.

No.207 to Ballyvolane

From 09:30 to 12:00 Shuttle Services as per Sunday timetable will depart from junction of Ballyhooley Rd/The Glen.

From 12:00 shuttle service will depart from St. Patricks Quay.

No.208 to Lotabeg

From 09:30 to 12:00 Shuttle Services as per Sunday timetable will depart from St. Luke.

From 12:00 shuttle service will depart from St. Patricks Quay.

After 1600 hours, services will depart from Merchants Quay. Inspector on Duty will assist

No.205 to Kent Station: Service Cancelled for duration of Marathon

 

Southside Services

No.202 to Mahon: Shuttle service as per Sunday timetable will depart from  Anglesea Street (temporary bus stop opposite Market Bar) via No. 215 bus route to Skehard Road ONLY

No.203 to Ballyphehane

 

 

Shuttle Service as per Sunday timetable will depart from Anglesea St. (temporary bus stop) Opposite Market Bar. 

Services will revert to South Mall when Road re-opens.  Inspector on Duty will assist with any queries.

No.206 to Grange

No.207 to Donnybrook

No.208 to Bishopstown

No.214 to C.U.H

No 215 to Mahon Point

No.216 to Mount Oval

No.223 to Monkstown/Ringaskiddy/Haulbowline

No. 220 to Carrigaline Crosshaven and Ballincollig

No.215 to Blarney/Tower 

Service will depart as normal from the Bus Station, Parnell Place

No.216 to Glasheen: Service is cancelled for duration of Marathon

Services to: Ballincollig/Macroom/ West Cork/Killarney/Tralee

Services will depart from Bus Station via South Link Road

226 Cork Airport/Bus Station/Kent Station

No service to/from Kent Station for duration of road closures          

Suburban Services

Services from Airport and Kinsale

Services will operate via South Terrace to Parnell Place Bus Station.

226 service will not serve KENT STATION for duration of Marathon.

Services from Ringaskiddy

Inward services will operate via Sth Terrace, Cotter Street, Copley Street to Anglesea Street (Terminus) opposite Market Bar.

Services to Ringsakiddy

Services will operate from Anglesea St. (Terminus) bus stop opposite the Market Bar

 

Black Ash Park & Ride

Black Ash Park & Ride will operate every 10 minutes between the hrs of 07.30 and 19.15

 

All other services will depart from Bus Station, Parnell Place with possible delays
