Road Closure affecting Cork City Route 226

Bus Eireann has been advised that the R600 will be closed from its junction with Bowens Cross to its junction at Farmers Cross for roadworks from 08.00 on Monday, 25 July to 21.00 on Friday, 29 July 2016.

As a result Route 226 will operate as follows:

226 Outbound: services leaving Cork Airport will operate straight ahead towards Farmers Cross turning right onto Glen Road and then continue onto R613, turning right through Ballygarvan to re-join the R600 at Fivemilebridge.

226 Inbound: services will turn right at Fivemilebridge and continue on R613 through Ballygarvan to junction with Glen Cross Roads, turning left towards farmers Cross to rejoin R600 at Airport Roundabout.

Route 226 service will pick up and set down on a hail and ride basis in Ballygarvan to accommodate customers to/from Bowens Cross area.

Bus Eireann regrets any inconvenience caused to passengers as a result.
