Customer Notice - Route 190 Drogheda - Navan - Trim

Bus Éireann, in conjunction with the National Transport Authority, has recently carried out a review of services on Route 190, Trim – Navan – Drogheda – Laytown. Following this review, we are pleased to announce a number of service improvements and timing changes will be implemented from Sunday, 4 September 2016.

These changes have been designed to further improve the reliability and level of service provided to our customers and to further grow public transport along this corridor.

As part of these changes, this corridor will be split into two individual routes:

Route 190, Drogheda - Navan - Trim

Route D1, Laytown-Drogheda

The main features of these revised services are as follows:

  • Route 190: Drogheda - Navan – Trim
    • A standalone Drogheda/Navan/Trim service with simplified timetable and consistent routing
    • Service every 60 minutes from Monday to Saturday, departing Drogheda from 06.30 to 20.30, and Trim from 07.30 to 22.00
    • Sunday & Public Holiday services will increase to every 60 minutes, from current service every two hours.
    • Earlier morning and later evening services
  • Route D1: Drogheda - Laytown
    • A standalone Laytown/Drogheda service.
    • Monday to Saturday services will increase to every 30 minutes, from current service every 60 minutes.
    • Sunday & Public Holiday services will increase to every 60 minutes, from current service every two hours.
    • Earlier morning and later evening services

These changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority. The revised timetables are available here:
