Christmas Nightrider Services in Cork City - expired

Ho Ho Ho! Heading out for Christmas parties, festivities or late night shopping, why not use Bus Éireann’s late night services at weekends in the run-up to Christmas from Cork city to Carrigaline, Ballincollig, Blarney, Midleton, Carrigtwohill, Innishannon and Bandon. The services will operate from Cork city centre on Friday 9, Saturday 10, Friday 16 and Saturday 17, Thursday 22 and Friday, 23 December 2016. 

The following routes will depart from St. Patrick’s Street at 1am, 2am and 3am.

  • The Carrigaline service will depart from Brown Thomas and will serve Douglas East Village, Maryborough Hill and Carrigaline.
  • The Ballincollig service will depart outside Debenhams and will operate via Bishopstown Road, Curraheen Road, Melbourne Road and Ballincollig.
  • The Midleton service departs outside Easons and will serve Dillons X, Mayfield, Glanmire, Glounthaune, Carrigtwohill and Midleton.
  • A new Blarney service departs outside the Savoy and will serve Blackpool, Churchfield, Farranree, Killeens, Blarney & Cloghroe.

This year, Route 237 will operate a late night service departing from St. Patrick’s Street at 01.30 and 03.00 to Western Road, Wilton, Bishopstown, Halfway, Innishannon and terminating in Bandon.

Single journey fares are €3 to Glanmire, Glounthaune, Douglas, Bishopstown & Wilton, €5 to Ballincollig, Carrigaline, Carrigtwohill, Blarney, Cloghroe & Halfway, €8 to Midleton & Innishannon and €10 to Bandon.
