Road Closure affecting Cork Routes 236, 237 and 239.

We wish to notify customers in Cork that due to drainage works at Rochfordstown, Waterfall - part of the N71, from its junction northbound with R613 at Ballinhassig, to its junction southbound with the N40 at the Bandon Road Roundabout in Bishopstown, will close over the following two weekends affecting Routes 236, 237 and 239.

From 20.00, on 17 February 2017 to 0600 on 20 February 2017

From 20:00, on 24 February 2017 to 0600 on 27 February 2017

Services will operate as follows:

From Cork towards Bandon serving Innishannon:
Services will operate from Bishopstown Road towards Waterfall and to Crossbarry. In Crossbarry services will turn left after the Centra store and continue ahead, then turn left onto L2236 towards N71 and then turn right towards Innishannon and normal route thereafter.

From Cork towards Bandon serving Halfway:
Services will operate from Bishopstown Road towards Waterfall, and to the Junction with Briar Hill/Goggins Hill, towards Railway Steps, turning right at Lower Gogginshill onto L2231 towards Halfway and normal route thereafter.

From Bandon to Cork:
Services will turn left at the roundabout on N71 towards Halfway, towards Fivemilebridge and then left onto R600 Kinsale Road towards Kinsale Road Roundabout. Services will then turn left at the junction with Grange Road onto N40 towards Wilton and then towards CUH and normal route to City Centre.

07.45 / 13.45 / 16.45 Saturday only services from Bandon:
Services will operate from Halfway towards Rearour, then Cullinanes Cross towards Maddens Cross and then returning to Ballinhassig and towards Fivemilebridge. Services will then operate towards Kinsale Road Roundabout and then Wilton. From Wilton, services will operate via Sarsfield Road to CUH and normal route to City Centre.

Thursday, 16th February, 2017
