Status Orange - Snow-ice Warning for the east of the country

Met Éireann have advised of a Status Orange snow-ice warning for the east of the country, with the possibly of a Status Red warning in the coming days.
The National Emergency Co-Ordination Group (NECG) are monitoring the approach of Storm Emma, and may issue travel advice to those living in parts of the country worse affected.

Bus Éireann are currently operating all road passenger and school transport services.
However as the weather deteriorates or warning colour levels increase, it is likely that our services will be affected.
School transport services will not operate into or out of any area affected by a red warning. See www.buseireann.ie/StatusRed
Every effort will be made to operate services on our national network – particularly in areas least effected – but safety of our staff and passengers are of paramount importance.

We will be providing information updates on this website and via social media @buseireann on Twitter and @buseireann on Facebook.
