Bon Secours Hospital Great Limerick Run - Sunday, 6 May 2018

The Bon Secours Hospital Great Limerick Run will take place in Limerick City on Sunday, 6 May 2018 and due to road closures, the following amendments will take place between 0900 – 1800 approximately.

Route 301 Father Russel Road/City Centre/Westbury

  • The first 301 service departing Father Russell Rd. will operate at 1300. There will be no 301 services departing Raheen before this time.
  • Inbound from Father Russell Rd. the 301 service will operate to Colbert Station via Childers Rd. and Hyde Rd. The service will terminate at the Hyde Rd. Post Office.
  • The service will also operate outbound to the Father Russell Rd. from the Hyde Rd. Post Office. There will be no through service from Raheen to Westbury during race hours.
  • From Westbury the service will operate as normal to Arthurs Quay. The service will terminate at Arthurs Quay Shopping Centre.
  • The service will also operate outbound to Westbury from Arthurs Quay Shopping Centre. There will be no through service from Westbury to Raheen during race hours.

Route 302 City Centre/Caherdavin

  • From Caherdavin inbound the service will operate on its regular route to Thomond Bridge. It will then operate via Thomond Bridge and the Island Rd. It will proceed via Athlunkard St. and Patrick St. to its terminus at Arthurs Quay.
  • Outbound from the City Centre the service will operate from Arthurs Quay via Athlunkard St. to the Island Rd. It will proceed via Thomond Bridge and continue on Thomondgate and through Caherdavin on its regular route.
  • 302 services between 2115 and 2300 will also operate to and from Arthurs Quay due to Riverfest Fireworks display.

Route 303 O’Malley Park/City Centre/Pineview

  • From O’Malley Pk. the 303 service will operate to Future Sound and Vision on Upper William Street. Operating via Pennywell, Lelia St., Clare St. and Island Rd. the service will travel over Thomond Bridge to High St. and on to Moyross and Craeval Pk. as per regular route.
  • From Moyross and Craeval Pk. the 303 service will operate from High Street over Thomond Bridge to Island Road. It will then turn right onto Athlunkard St and operate via St. Patrick St. and William St to O Malley Park

Route 304 Raheen/City Centre/UL

  • The 304 service will not operate from Raheen to the City Centre and the University of Limerick between the Hours of 0930 and 1250.
  • Outside of these hours the 304 service will operate from Raheen to Future Sound and Vision on Upper William St. It will operate via Childers Rd. and Hyde Rd. turning right on to Carey’s Rd. it will then operate via Roxboro Rd to Future Sound and Vision on Upper William St. From Future Sound and Vision on its regular route to the University of Limerick.
  • The 304 service will not operate to the University of Limerick stops between the hours of 0900 and 1300. 304 services during these hours will instead operate via the Dublin Rd. to the Kilmurry Roundabout to their terminus at the Hurlers Pub and back in the Dublin Rd. to Future Sound and Vision on Upper William St.
  • The 304 service will not operate to Raheen from the City Centre between the hours of 0945 and 1245.
  • Outside of these hours from the University of Limerick the 304 service will operate its regular route to Mulgrave St., opposite the Fire Station. It will then operate via Sexton St. to Colbert Station, then travelling via Hyde Rd. to the Crescent Shopping Centre and on to Raheen as per regular route.

Route 304A Raheen/Station/Monaleen

  • The first 304A service departing Raheen will operate from St Nessans Church at 1320. There will be no 304A services departing Raheen before this time.
  • The 304A service will not operate to the University of Limerick stops between the hours of 0900 and 1230. 304A services during these hours will operate on their regular route from Upper William St. to the Groody Roundabout. They will then proceed via the Dublin Rd. to the Kilmurry Roundabout and via the Castletroy Shopping Centre on their regular route back to the City Centre.
  • The 304A service will not operate to Raheen from the City Centre between the hours of 1000 and 1235. After this time 304A services to Raheen will return to normal schedule

Route 305 City Centre/St Marys Park & 306 City Centre/Ballynanty

  • From Ballynanty the service will operate on its regular route to Thomond Bridge. It will proceed via Athlunkard St. and Patrick St. to its terminus at Arthurs Quay.
  • From Arthurs Quay the service will operate via Athlunkard St. and the Island Rd. to St. Marys Pk.
  • From St Mary’s Pk. the service will operate via the Island Rd. and Athlunkard St. to Arthurs Quay.
  • 306 services between 2115 and 2300 will not operate via Clancy Strand due to Riverfest Fireworks display.

Route 13/14 Kerry/Limerick

All services to operate via Motorway to Roxboro and return via Careys Road between 09.00 and 18.00.

Route 51/X51

All services to operate via Hyde Road and Shannon Tunnel between 09.00 and 18.00.

Route 343 Limerick/Shannon/Ennis

All services to operate via Ivan’s and Shannon Tunnel, no pick up/drop off between Ivan’s and Bus Station between 09.00 and 18.00.
