Road Closure affecting Cork City Route 208

Cork City Council have advised that the Old Youghal Road from junction with Gardiner’s Hill to junction with Murmont Road, will be closed to traffic from 09:00 to 15:00 on Sunday, 13 January 2019.

As a result Route 208 will operate as follows:

From Cork City:  Normal route to junction as far as Ballyhooly Road and Old Youghal Road.  The on to Ballyhooly Road, North Ring Road, Old Youghal Road at Mayfield Shopping Centre; then to Iona Park/Colmcille Avenue and normal route thereafter to terminus.

To Cork City:  Normal route from Boherboy Road right to North Ring Road; at junction with Ballyhooly Road, turn to Ballyhooly Road, continuing to junction with Old Youghal Road and normal route thereafter.
