Road Closure affecting Cork City Route 220
County Council have advised that in order to facilitate a new road layout, Maryborough Hill will be closed to traffic immediately south of junction with Maryborough Hill and The Borough from 18:00 on Friday, 15 February 2019 until 06:00 on Monday, 18 February 2019.
As a result, Route 220 should operate as follows:
From Cork City: Services will operate as per normal on Maryborough Hill to junction with Greendale Road (junction at Maryborough Hotel & Spa) and then at the junction turn right and continue on Greendale Road to junction with Carrigaline Road (R609); turn left onto Carrigaline Road (R609) and continue ahead taking slip road to join N28 Carr’s Hill, and normal route thereafter.
To Cork City: On departing Carrigaline, services will operate inbound via Carr’s Hill (N28); take slip road to join Carrigaline Road (R609); continue ahead to junction with Maryborough Woods, turning right onto Greendale Road; continue ahead on Greendale Road to junction with Maryborough Hill, turning left onto Maryborough Hill and normal route thereafter.
