Over 1,000 children to take part in Aldi Community Games National Arts and Culture Finals on 27 and 28 of August in Carlow

Over 1,000 talented children along with their families and supporters from all over Ireland will travel to the VISUAL Arts Theatre in Carlow this weekend to take part in the second of the National Aldi Community Games finals. Children aged between six and sixteen from all over Ireland will be taking part in the National Arts and Culture Finals in a host of different events including Art, Handwriting, Singing, Dancing, Chess, Model Making and more.  The events will commence from 9am and go straight through until 6pm on both days.

Bus Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company is very proud to be the National Travel Partner of Community Games and will have employees on site on Saturday 27 August to meet and greet participants, family and friends.

This weekend is a celebration of Arts and Culture and will showcase so much talent from every corner of Ireland. The colourful and lively celebration is open to the public with many different performers on hand to entertain the crowds. For more information check out www.communitygames.ie.

Aldi Community Games was established in 1967 to provide the opportunity for young people to use their leisure time in a healthy and productive way and that mission is as relevant today.
