St Patrick’s Day 2013 - Alterations to Eastern Region services due to road closures

Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers of alterations to services due to road closures/diversions for the St. Patrick’s festival.

Friday, 15 March 2013 

Route 100X, Dublin/Drogheda/Dundalk will operate to/from Busáras (Gate 16 on Store St.) from Friday, 15 March at 20.00 to Tuesday, 19 March at 06.00 

 

Sunday, 17 March 2013 

Route diversions between 10:00 and 15:00 are as follows:

Route 103, Dublin - Ashbourne - Kilmoon Cross - Duleek and Route 105, Dublin - Ratoath will operate via Dorset St, Gardiner St, Georges Quay, Matt Talbot Bridge and Beresford Place

Route 101, Dublin - Airport - Balbriggan – Drogheda, Route 109, Dublin - Dunshaughlin - Navan - Kells - Virginia - Cavan town and Route 111, Wilton Terrace - City Centre – Trim – Athboy – Granard – Cavan will operate to Busáras via Phibsboro, North Circular Road, Dorset St and Gardiner St.  Services departing from Busáras will operate via Five Lamps, Portland Road and North Circular Road.

Route 115, Dublin - Mullingar – Longford, Route 120, Dublin - Clane - Prosperous - Edenderry - Tullamore and Route 126, Dublin - Kill - Naas - Newbridge - Kildare operating to Connolly/Busáras will divert at Red Cow/Liffey Valley from 10.00-15.30 and operate via M50 and Port Tunnel to Busáras/Connolly.  Services operating from Connolly/Busáras will operate via Amiens St, Portland Row, North Circular Road, Hanlon’s Corner, Manor Street, James Joyce Bridge, South Quays and Heuston Station. 

Services operating from Ballina, Cork, Galway Limerick, Sligo, Clonmel and Waterford to Dublin, Busáras will divert at the Red Cow/Liffey Valley and operate via M50 and Port Tunnel between 10.00 and 15.30.  Services departing Busáras will operate via the Port Tunnel to the M50 roundabout, and then southbound for the N4, N7 and N9 between 10.00 and 15.00. 

Bus Éireann services X8, 12 and X12 from Cork and Limerick will exit the Motorway at Exit 17 (Maldron Hotel) to/from Dublin.  All services operating Southbound will operate as normal 

Routes 2, X2 and 133 from Wexford /Wicklow will operate to Dublin Airport, operate via RTE, Donnybrook, turn right after Leeson Street Bridge, and continue onto Merrion Square North, Westland Row, Busáras (Gate 16) and then Dublin Airport between 0600 and 1600.

Route 133, departing Dublin Airport will operate via Port Tunnel, Georges Quay (Pick Up point), Westland Row, Merrion Square North (Pick Up point) and Leeson Street. 

Routes 2, X2, departing Dublin Airport will operate via Port Tunnel, Busaras, Westland Row, Merrion Square North (Pick up point) Leeson Street. 

Route 20: Dublin/Galway
Enfield will be closed between 15.00 and 16.00 so services will operate via the Ring Road for pick up and drop off. 

Route 22 and 23: Dublin/Ballina and Dublin/Sligo
Mullingar Main Street will be closed between 13.30 and 17.00. Services will pick up and drop off Hospital Stop (Castlepollard Road). 

Routes 103, 105 and 109A:
Between 1400 and 1600; Services departing Ashbourne (Outbound) will operate via the Ring Road by turning left at bridge. Services inbound will turn right at Newman’s Garage 

Routes 103, 105 and 109A:
Between 1200 and 1400, Ratoath services will operate via Jamestown Ring Road

Route 109:
Between 1430 and 1700, Navan services both inbound and outbound will stop at Fire Station. 

Kells services will operate as normal.

Route 115:
10.00 service departing Mullingar and Maynooth will drop passengers at Esso Filling station. Pick up and drop off at Mullingar Railway Station and Hospital bus stops.

Route 120:
Celbridge town will be closed between 15.30 and 17.30.  Services will operate via Barberstown Cross.

Between 15.00 and 17.00 services to/from Clane will operate via Ring Road

Between 13.00 and 16.00 services to/from Edenderry will pick up/terminate at Mitsubishi Garage (Dublin Road)

Route 126:
Newbridge only: Main Street closed from 11:45-14:00. Please use Ring Road. Pick up and drop off points at Dunnes Stores and Church

Route 133:
Bray: Main Street closed between 12.00 and 15.00. Services will operate via Sunnybank.   

Wicklow Town will close between 14.00 and 17.00. Services will terminate at Lidl

Arklow will close between 15.00 and 17.00. For the duration of the parade pick up points at Knockmore Roundabout and The Ferrybank
