Bus Éireann with GoBus.ie to Provide Greater Choice of Services Between Dublin and Galway

From Tuesday, 15 February 2011, Galway-based transport provider, Gobus.ie, will operate its non-stop service between Dublin and Galway in association with Bus Éireann, the country’s leading public transport network manager. This new association will bring increased benefits to both Gobus.ie and Bus Éireann customers by providing them with a greater choice of services between Galway-Dublin City-Dublin Airport.

The integration of services by both companies means that Gobus.ie passengers now have access to Bus Éireann’s extensive Expressway network and Bus Éireann can offer its customers the choice of 14 daily non-stop direct return services between Galway and Dublin.

These direct services from Gobus.ie have an impressively swift journey time of 2hrs 30mins at a flat rate of just €10.00 each way. The award-winning Volvo fleet of Gobus.ie coaches have excellent passenger safety and comfort features including toilet facilities, free WI-FI, a climate control ventilation system, great legroom, 3-point safety belts, adjustable head and foot rests, and low interior noise.

Gobus.ie will continue to operate its non-stop, Galway-Dublin return services from the contemporary and comfortable Sean Duggan Coach Station on Fairgreen Road in Galway City and its Dublin Airport departures will also continue to operate from the Airport’s coach park. Bus Éireann will continue to operate its inter-city services between Galway and Dublin – Route 20 multi-stop, and X20 limited stop, from Galway Bus Station, Dublin Airport and Busaras.
