Road Closure affecting Cork City Routes 214 & 215
We have been advised of the need for an emergency road closure to repair a water main pipe on St. Finbarr’s Road, Cork City.
This will affect routes Cork City Routes 214 & 216.
Diversion routes for this are as follows:
Route 214 Outbound:
Servicse will operate as normal to Gregg Road then turn left onto Noonan Road and continue onto Pouladuff Road to the junction with Pearse Road, turn right to the junction with Togher Road, then turn left and normal route thereafter.
Route 214 Inbound:
Services will operate as normal to the Junction with Togher Road and Pearse Road, turn right onto Pearse Road to the junction with Pouladuff Road, turn left and continue to Noonan’s Road then right onto Gregg Road and normal route thereafter.
Route 216 Outbound:
Services will operate as normal to Gregg Road then turn left onto Noonan Road and continue onto Pouladuff Road to the junction with Pearse Road, turn right to the junction with Togher Road, then turn right onto Lough Road to Galvins Corner, turning left and normal outbound route.
Route 216 services will pick up / set down at all stops on Lough Road as Route 214 is unable to serve these bus stops due to diversion.
Route 216 Inbound:
Services will operate as normal to Galvins Corner, turn right onto Lough Road and continue to Junction with Pearse Road then turn left onto Pearse Road and left onto Pouladuff Road and continue to Noonan’s Road then right onto Gregg Road and normal route thereafter.
Route 216 services will pick up / set down at all stops on Lough Road as route 214 is unable to serve these bus stops due to diversion.
The following Bus Stops will not be served by Route 214 but will be served by route 216 for the duration of the closure.

- Lough Road (Cork Lough Park North End)
- Lough Road (Opp. Cork Lough Park)
- Lough Road (Cork Lough Park South End)
- Lough Road (Pearse Road Junc.)
