Diversion in Galway this Saturday, 7 October 2017, affecting Routes 401 & 424

The Galway Bay Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k Road Race will take place on Saturday, 07 October 2017. 

As a result, Routes 401 & 424 will divert as follows: 

• Route 401 will divert on outbound trips at Lower Salthill via Devon Park to Dr Mannix Road, returning as normal from 08:30 to 14:30.
• Route 424 will divert on the 08:20 and 11:30 outbound trips at Lower Salthill via Devon Park, Dr Mannix Road, Threadneedle Rd and Kingston Rd to The Barna Road, returning as normal. 

The following areas will not be served during the event: 

• Route 401 will not serve the section of the outbound trip from Lower Salthill (Devon Park) via Salthill Village, Salthill Promenade and Dalysfort Rd from 08:30 to 14:30.
• Route 424 will not serve the section of the outbound trip from Lower Salthill (Devon Park) via Salthill Village, Salthill Promenade and the section of the R336 from Blackrock to The Barna Rd on the 08:20 and 11:30 departures.
