Diversions to/from Cork City due to the Mark Pollock, Run in the Dark 2019

We wish to advise customers that although South Mall, Cork City, will be open to traffic, Bus Stops cannot be accessed during the Mark Pollock, Run in the Dark 2019 event, this Wednesday, 13 November from 8pm to 10.30pm.

Services will operate as follows during the event:

Route 202: Services will operate as normal

Route 203 Farranree to Ballyphehane: Services will operate via Merchants Quay to Parnell Place and then via Clontarf Street to City Hall Terminus and then normal route.

Route 203 Ballyphehane to Farranree: Services will operate as normal from Ballyphehane to Parliament Bridge, right to South Mall, then to terminus on Merchant’s Quay

Route 205 CIT to Kent Station: Services will operate as normal to Dyke Parade and turn left onto Prospect Row, Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay, St. Patrick Bridge, McCurtain Street and normal route thereafter.

Route 205 Kent Station to CIT: Services will operate from Kent Station to Parnell Place Bus Station, Merchant’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay; Bachelor’s Quay; left to Grattan Street; right to Washington Street and normal Route thereafter.

Route 206 from Grange to South Mall: Services will operate as per normal Route to South Mall, continuing to Anglesea Street Bus Stop to pick up/drop off customers, continuing as per normal Route to Grange.

Route 207 from Donnybrook to Ballyvolane: Services will operate as per normal Route to Parliament Bridge, right to South Mall, then to terminus on Merchant’s Quay

Route 207 from Ballyvolane to Donnybrook: Services will operate as normal to Brian Boru Bridge, to Clontarf Street, Terence McSwiney Quay to terminus on Anglesea Street and normal route thereafter.

Route 208 Bishopstown to Mayfield: Services from Bishopstown/Curraheen will operate as normal to Dyke Parade and turn left onto Prospect Row, Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay, St. Patrick Bridge, McCurtain Street terminus and normal route thereafter.

Route 208 Mayfield to Bishopstown: Services will operate as per normal route to Parnell Place, then Merchant’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay; Bachelor’s Quay; left to Grattan Street; right to Washington Street and normal Route thereafter.

Route 214 CUH to St. Patrick St: Services will operate as normal Washington Street, turning right to South Main Street terminus continuing per normal Route to CUH

Route 215 from Cloghroe to Mahon: Services will operate via Merchants Quay terminus, Clontarf Street, Terence McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street and normal route thereafter.

Route 215 from Mahon to Cloghroe: Services will operate as per normal Route to Parliament Bridge, right to South Mall, then to terminus on Merchant’s Quay

Route 216 from CUH to Monkstown: Services will operate as per normal Route, then left onto Wandesford Quay; left onto Western Road, right to Mardyke Street; right to Dyke Parade; left to Prospect Row; Bachelor’s Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; right at Parnell Place Bus Station to Clontarf Street; then to Anglesea Street terminus and normal Route thereafter

Route 216 from Monkstown to CUH: Services will operate as per normal Route

Route 220 Ballincollig to Carrigaline: Services will operate normal route to Dyke Parade, turn left onto Prospect Row, then Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay; Merchants Quay, Clontarf Street, McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street (Terminus) & normal route thereafter.

Route 220 Carrigaline to Ballincollig: Services will operate as per normal.

Route 220X; 19:20 from Ovens: Services will operate as per normal to Dyke Parade; left to Prospect Row; Bachelor’s Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; right at Parnell Place Bus Station to Clontarf Street; then to Anglesea Street terminus and normal Route thereafter.

Route 223 from Ringaskiddy: Services will operate as normal to South Mall, continuing to Anglesea Street Bus Stop to pick up/drop off customers, continuing as per normal Route to Ringaskiddy

Route 226 from Cork Airport: Services will operate as per normal Route but not serving Bus Stops on South Mall.

Services inbound from Tralee/Macroom/West Cork: Services will operate as per normal to Dyke Parade, turn left onto Prospect Row, then Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay; Merchants Quay, to Parnell Place Bus Station.

Services outbound to Macroom/West Cork: Services will operate from Bus Station, then Merchant’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay; Bachelor’s Quay; left to Grattan Street; right to Washington Street and normal Route thereafter.
