Diversions due to the Cork City Marathon

We wish to advise customers in Cork City that due to the Cork City Marathon taking place this Sunday, 2nd June, 2019 diversions will be in place for the duration of Marathon.  Customers are advised to expect delays/disruption to services.

Kent Station will not be served for duration of road closure

No. 202 - Northside Shuttle
Service from Apple to operate as normal as far as North Cathedral Bus Stop and will then operate via Gerald Griffin Street, North Monastery Road, Wolfe Tone Street, Cathedral Road and normal route thereafter.

No. 203 - Northside Shuttle
From start of service until 12:00: - From Parklands, services will operate to Commons Road (Circle K service station), then via Fairfield Avenue and proceed on normal route.

No 203 - Southside Shuttle
From Manor Farm, services will operate to Pouladuff to N40 and then South Link to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

No. 205 – Southside Shuttle
Inbound:
  services will operate from CIT via Bishopstown Road, Sarsfield Road, N40, South Link Road and continue to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

No. 206:
From start of service to 13:00, services from Grange will operate as normal then via Tramore Lawn,  Douglas Road and continue to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

No.207 - Northside Shuttle
Inbound
:  services will operate as normal as far as junction with Ballyhooley Road and the Glen; turning right to The Glen.
Outbound
: services will operate from The Glen via North Ring Road turning left onto Ballyhooley Rd and normal route.

No. 207 - Southside Shuttle
Inbound:
services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace, turn right through Cotter Street to Anglesea St. (Terminus) bus stop across from Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

Outbound:  services will operate from Anglesea St. (Terminus) bus stop opposite Crawford Bar.
Normal route thereafter to Donnybrook. Service will revert to South Mall once roads reopen.

No. 207A – No service before 13:00.

Northside Shuttle – No. 208
Services will operate as normal from Ashmount Terminus to St. Lukes, St. Lukes Cross (Montonette Hotel) to Middle Glanmire Road and to Mayfield Garda Station to terminus

Southside Shuttle – No. 208
Inbound:
  services will operate from Marymount via Bishopstown Road, Sarsfield Road, N40, South Link Road and continue to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

Route 213 – Park & Ride:
Services will operate from 07:30 to 18:00 - Operating via Eglinton Street.

No. 214 - Southside Shuttle
Services from CUH will operate via Sarsfield Road, N40, South Link Road and continue to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St.

No. 215 – Northside Shuttle:
Services from Cloghroe will operate to Blackpool, Brother Delaney Road. 
Services outbound to Cloghroe will turn left to Red Forge Road; Old Mallow Road and as normal to Cloghroe.

No. 215 – Southside:
Before 12:00, services commence at Crawford Bar, and operate as normal to Bessboro Road, then turning right onto Bessboro Road to terminus.

No. 216: 
Services from CUH will operate via Sarsfield Road, N40, South Link Road and continue to terminus at Crawford Bar, Anglesea St and then normal Route. 

Route 220
Carrigaline/Crosshaven to City Centre/Ballincollig/Grange Manor
:  services will operate as normal to South Terrace, then Cotter Street, Copley Street, to Crawford Bar, Anglesea St to South Link and outbound to Ballincollig via Poulavone Roundabout, and normal Route.

Ex EMC/Ballincollig City Centre; Carrigaline/Crosshaven services will operate as normal to Poulavone Roundabout then N40 and eastbound on South Link Road to Crawford Bar, Anglesea St and normal Route.

Route No. 221
Inbound: Service will operate as normal to Dunkettle Roundabout, then Dunkettle Interchange, Jack Lynch Tunnel and South Link Road to City Centre.
Outbound service will operate from the Bus Station via South City Link Road, South Link Road to Jack Lynch Tunnel and normal route thereafter.

Route 226 Airport and Kinsale:
Inward services to operate via South Terrace, Cotter Street, Copley Street, Old Station Road, Eglington Street, City Hall, Eamonn De Valera, Michael Collins Bridge, to Parnell Place Bus Station.  Outbound services to operate as per normal Route.  226 service will not serve Kent Station for duration of Marathon.

Route 223:
Inbound from Ringaskiddy, services to operate via South Terrace, Cotter Street, Copley Street to Anglesea Street (Terminus) opposite Crawford Bar.  Then operate outbound from Anglesea Street as per normal Route.

Services from West Cork, Macroom, and Tralee
Operate via Sarsfield Road, South Ring Road, Eglington Street, City Hall, Eamonn De Valera, Michael Collins Bridge to Parnell Place Bus Station. 

Services to West Cork, Macroom, Tralee
Operate via Anglesea Street, South City Link Road to Kinsale Road Roundabout and via South City Link Road (West) and normal route thereafter. 

Services from Youghal, Dungarvan, Waterford, Dublin/Mitchelstown/Fermoy:  
Prior to 1200, services will operate via Jack Lynch tunnel, South Link Road, South City Link Road to Eglington Street, Eamonn De Valera, Michael Collins Bridges to Bus Station. After 1200 services will operate via normal service route

Services to Youghal, Dungarvan, Waterford, Dublin/Mitchelstown/Fermoy:
Operate from the Bus Station via South City Link Road, South Link Road to Jack Lynch Tunnel and normal route thereafter.
