Services in Dublin and Galway affected by Royal visit

We wish to advise customers that due to the Royal visit from 3 March to 5 March inclusive, there will be some disruptions to our services.

Tuesday, 3 March 2020 - Dublin:

From 2pm to 4pm approximately, there will be traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the Garden of Remembrance, therefore, the following services will be diverted:

Routes 101 & 103

Services will divert onto Gardiner Street

Route NX

Services will turn from Phibsboro onto Whitworth Road, Drumcondra Road and onto Gardiner Street

From 3pm to 5pm approximately, there will be localised traffic restrictions in place in the vicinity of Government Buildings including Merrion Street, Merrion Square West and Merrion Square South and the following services will be affected:

Routes 2, 103X, 105X and Route 133

Traffic will be diverted from St Stephens Green South at the Leeson Street junction onto Earlsfort Terrace and St Stephens Green East.

Merrion Sq East and South have been closed by Gardaí, with 133 services being diverted from Townsend St to Donnybrook - Loreto Stop, St Stephens Green and Leeson St are not being served in direction of Wicklow and Dawson St not being served inbound. Anticipated reopening at 5pm

Thursday, 5 March 2020 - Galway:

Galway City Route 401 will be subject to delays, between 7am and 2pm

Bus stop number 522171 on Dr Mannix Rd and bus stop no. 524501 on Merchants Rd will not be accessible by Bus Éireann services during this period.
