Disruptions to services affecting Expressway Route 40

Cork County Council have advised that to facilitate resurfacing works, the N25 will close nightly from 8.30pm Monday, 28 September to 5:30am on Friday, 23 October.

As a result, Route 40, 8.40pm service from Cork to Waterford, will operate as normal on N25 to Junction 2, Little Island and then take slip road at Junction 2, turning left on R623 at top of slip road. At junction with R3004, service will then turn right to Glounthaune and then continue ahead towards Carrigtwohill. At roundabout by Fota Business Park, service will take first exit to L-3678, continuing through Carrigtwohill Village, using the slip road to rejoin N25, and normal Route thereafter.
