Bus Éireann services for Mullingar Fleadh, Sunday 31 July to Monday 8 August

  • Mullingar Railway Station car park will close to vehicular traffic from 20:00 on Friday 29 July 2022 and will reopen again on Monday 8th August at 05:00. Services will operate as normal on Saturday 30th July with 115 services commencing in Austin Friars Street.
  • From Sunday 31 July 2022, all Route 22 / 23 services will operate via Junction 16, Delvin Road, passengers to be picked up and dropped off at temporary bus stop opposite QuickPick Store on Delvin Road) and join Mullingar Bypass at Junction 15.
  • From Sunday 31 July 2022 All 115 services will operate via Junction 16, Delvin Road and will COMMENCE AND TERMINATE at Mullingar Imperial Tobacco Stop (STERIPACK) These diversions will remain in place for the duration of the festival.

Bus Éireann is advising customers hoping to attend the opening festivities of Mullingar Fleadh this weekend, Sunday 31st July that Expressway Route 22 and Route 23 and PSO Route 115 services will be operating to regularly scheduled timetables, with some stops in Mullingar unable to be serviced due to diversions in place for Mullingar Fleadh.

Route 115 services operate every hour from Dublin to Mullingar, with the first service departing Dublin at 6.30am and a final return from Mullingar at 11.30pm.

Route 22 services provide two departures from Dublin to Mullingar on Sunday morning and Route 23 services provide four departures from Dublin to Mullingar across the day.

From Sunday, 31st July to Sunday 7th August, for the duration of Mullingar Fleadh, bus stops at Mullingar Hospital and Mullingar Railway Station cannot be serviced due to diversions.

All services (with exception of Route 70) will operate from a temporary bus stop located on the Delvin Road opposite the QuickPick store for the duration of festivities.

Route 70 will operate from accross the road from the Fire Station on the Newbrook Road.

From 20:00 on Friday 29th July, all 115 services will commence from Austin Friars Street.
