Enhanced service provides improved connectivity and new Sunday service

Bus Éireann announces improved services on Route 329 from Kilfinane to LimerickBus Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company, is pleased to announce improved services to Route 329 from Kilfinane to Limerick which came into effect on Sunday, 10 September.  
The significantly enhanced Route 329 is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network. 

Route 329 will provide eight daily return services between Kilfinane and Limerick and will feature an enhanced timetable with earlier and later departures. The first services will now depart Limerick at 6.00 and Kilfinane at 6.15, while later departures will be from Limerick at 20.00 and Kilfinane at 19.15. The improved service will also offer five daily services on a Sunday and Public Holiday for the first time.

Bus Éireann Route 329 will serve Kilfinane, Kilmallock, Bruff, Grange, Ballyneety, Drombana, Killmallock Road, Roxboro Road, Limerick City and Limerick bus/train station.

“Bus Éireann is delighted to introduce these improved services between Kilfinane and Limerick, significantly improving Route 329, particularly for those passengers travelling at the weekend or connecting with regional or rail services,” said Brian Connolly, Bus Éireann, Senior Operations Manager, West. “Thanks to the National Transport Authority, through the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan we have added over 2 million kilometres to our network and have created over 65 new jobs. Demand for our services in the West is higher now than pre-pandemic, passenger numbers nationally are 20-30% higher than they were in 2019. This enhanced service will enable us to connect our growing number of customers with who and what matters to them.”
