ROUTE 212
Monday 5 January 2026 – Friday 6TH February 2026 (24 hr Closure)

Cork City Council have advised of the following road closure:

ROAD CLOSURE MARYVILLE – In place between 09:00hrs on Monday the 5th of January and 18:00hrs on Friday the 06th of February from its junction with the Blackrock Road to its junction with Monahan Road to facilitate large scale ESB Ducting upgrades.

As a result, the 212-service outbound, from Marquee Rd turn right to Monahan Rd, continue to Victoria Rd Roundabout towards, take the 4th exit and follow the Victoria/Blackrock Rd towards Blackrock to the Venue Bar and normal route thereafter. Return trip from Mahon operate reverse of this. Maryville cannot be served.

Road Closure will be in place from the Victoria Road Roundabout to its junction with Marquee Road between 21:00hrs and 06:00hrs.
As a result , the 212 service will need to operate via the Blackrock Rd in both directions. (This is in addition to the ongoing diversion that is already in place 5th Jan – 6th Feb.)

Please be advised that due to roadworks in Thomastown from 12/01/2026 to 23/01/2026 the following stops will not be served between 18:00 and 06:00hrs:

Due to planned roadworks, the outbound Route 174 service from Dundalk (Bus Station) to Grange Drive will be diverted daily from 12th January to 31st January between 09:00 and 17:00.

Route S1
Sligo County Council have advised that Abbey Street, Sligo will be closed for emergency road surface repairs on Tuesday, 20th January. The S1 route will not be able to serve the Abbey Street bus stop (631391) on that date. A temporary bus stop will be provided on John F. Kennedy Parade which is located parallel to Abbey Street approximately 100m north of the existing bus stop.



Routes 401, 404 and 409
Due to Connacht vs. Leinster rugby match in Galway City on January 24th, services on Routes 401, 404 and 409 will be diverted to Lough Atalia road from approximately 16:30 to 18:30.

>> Routes NV1 and NV2 Permanent Bus-Stop Relocation from Monday 8th December (Removal of Kennedy Road stops and new stops on Paddy O’Brien St)

We wish to advise customers travelling on routes NV1 and NV2 of the following change to the drop-off and pick-up bus-stop on Kennedy Road in Navan Town.

Routes NV1 and NV2 will operate to/from new bus-stops on Paddy O’Brien St. These changes will become active from Monday 8th December 2025.

Bus Stop Number on Paddy O’Brien St for routes NV1 and NV2 (to Gainstown):
•Stop 135661

Bus Stop Number on Paddy O’Brien St (Opp Eason) for routes NV1 and NV2 (to Dunville Road/Clusker Park):
