Service disruption in the South region Sunday 24/05/2026:

🔷Updated 18:15🔷

Due to Match traffic in Cork City, Routes 202, 202A, and 212 are currently diverted via the south link road. Delays maybe experienced on affected services. We apologise for the inconvenience.

🔹Route 245X🔹 
245X Cork Bus Station » Dublin (14:00, 24/05/2026) is currently delayed and will commence from Mitchelstown. The service is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes late. We apologise for the inconvenience.

🔹Route 51🔹
 51 Cork Bus Station » Galway (14:25, 24/05/2026) is currently delayed. The revised estimated departure time is now approximately 15:50, We apologise for the inconvenience.

🔹Route 223🔹
Route 223 will operate with reduced capacity between 18:20 and 19:20. We apologise for the inconvenience.

🔹Route 212🔹
Please note this route is now operating the 202 route today due to Road Closures. Further updates to follow.



🔹Route 203🔹

Due to the temporary road closure at junction of Fairfield Road and Knockpogue Avenue from 5 May to 29 June inclusive, the Route 203 southbound service to Ballyphehane/Lehenaghmore will not operate via Fairfield Road bus stops 242521 and 242531.

An alternative temporary bus stop will be available on Upper Fairhill before it’s junction with Fairfield Avenue.

For the duration of the works, the service will continue southbound on Upper Fairhill, turn left onto Fairfield Avenue, before resuming normal route onto Knockpogue Avenue.

🔹Routes 202 & 202a🔹

Due to the temporary road closure of a section of Knockfree Avenue (between its junction with Churchfield Hill and the roundabout with St. Colmcille’s Road, Sunvalley Drive and Gurranabraher Road), from 5 May to 15 June 2026 inclusive, Routes 202 and 202A southbound services to Mahon will not operate via Churchfield Green bus stop 236911 or Churchfield Hill bus stops 236921, 236931 and 236941.

An alternative temporary bus stop will be available on St. Colmcille’s Road at Gerry O’Sullivan Park in addition to existing bus stops 236901 on Harbour View Road and 236951 on Gurranabraher Road.

For the duration of the works, the services will continue southbound (to Mahon) on Harbour View Road, turn right onto Baker’s Road and left onto St. Colmcille’s Road before resuming its normal route onto Gurranabraher Road.


We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank our customers for their understanding.

🔹Route 212🔹


Please be advised that due to permanent roadworks on Centre Park Road, at its junction with Monahan Road, from 08:00 on Monday 13th April 2026 until 21:00 on Monday 13th July 2026, Route 212 services operating from Mahon Point to Cork Kent Station will be unable to serve stops along Centre Park Road for the duration of the works. Passengers are advised to use the next available stop at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Monahan Road.

Services operating in the opposite direction will operate as normal.

🔹Route 261🔹

Due to roadworks in Ballinacurra, stops 23991 & 237511 will be closed from Wednesday 11th March for approx. 8 weeks.
Stops at Mount Pleasant (244961) & Ballinacurra (244941) can be accessed by passenger.

Due to a G.A.A. match in Pearse Stadium, Salthill on Saturday 23rd May, services on Route 401 will commence and terminate in Salthill Village. The following stops will not be served between 17:30 and 21:30;
Outbound: Salthill Prom, Salthill Park, Dalysfort Rd., Forster Park and Pearse Stadium.
Inbound: Pearse Stadium, Salthill G.A.A., Threadneedle Rd., Seamount, Ladies Beach and Salthill Prom.

NX Service Diversion – Navan

Martha’s Bridge to Circular Road Cycle and Pedestrian Scheme Works

Effective:
• From 19:00hrs Friday 22nd May until 06:00hrs Monday 25th May 2026
• From 19:00hrs Friday 29th May until 06:00hrs Tuesday 2nd June 2026
• From 19:00hrs Friday 5th June until 06:00hrs Monday 8th June 2026
• From 19:00hrs Friday 12th June until 06:00hrs Monday 15th June 2026
• From 19:00hrs Friday 19th June until 06:00hrs Monday 22nd June 2026

Due to traffic management measures associated with the Martha’s Bridge to Circular Road Cycle and Pedestrian Scheme in Navan, NX outbound services from Dublin to Navan will operate on diversion during the above periods.
After serving Johnstown Shopping Centre, NX services will continue to the roundabout where buses will perform a U-turn and follow the Metges Road back to the traffic lights at the Dublin Road junction. Services will then turn right onto the R147 and continue towards Navan, rejoining normal route at St. Martha’s Bridge junction and serving Stop 136621 – Limekilnhill (Ma Dwyer’s).

Stop Not Served
• 136591 – Bóthar Sion, Navan

Customers are advised to use Stop 136621 – Limekilnhill (Ma Dwyer’s) or alternative nearby Stop 101371 – Johnstown Centre on the NX route.

NX services inbound to Dublin are not affected and will operate via normal route.

We wish to advise customers travelling on route 100X, 101X, 109A of the temporary relocation of the bus stop service inbound to Dublin:
Impacted stop: The Point (stop 7399)
Alternative stop: North Wall (stop 7611)

We wish to advise customers travelling on route 101 of the temporary relocation of the bus stop in Balheary Park (Stop 3731 from Dublin to Drogheda and Stop 3750 from Drogheda to Dublin). 

The bus stops will be temporarily relocated a few metres ahead to facilitate the works progress.
