Service Disruption for South Region on Monday May 4th, 2026

🚧Roadworks🚧

🔹Routes 214 & 31🔹

Customers are advised of a stop closure in Kent Station at The Lower Glanmire Road entrance from Saturday 2nd May until Tuesday 5th May. As a result, Routes 214 & 31 will not be able to serve stop 248041(Kent Station).

Passengers can access services for Routes 214 & 31 via stop 244461 across the road from Kent Station for the duration of the closure.

🔹Route 203🔹

Due to the temporary road closure at junction of Fairfield Road and Knockpogue Avenue from 5 May to 29 June inclusive, the Route 203 southbound service to Ballyphehane/Lehenaghmore will not operate via Fairfield Road bus stops 242521 and 242531.

An alternative temporary bus stop will be available on Upper Fairhill before it’s junction with Fairfield Avenue.

For the duration of the works, the service will continue southbound on Upper Fairhill, turn left onto Fairfield Avenue, before resuming normal route onto Knockpogue Avenue.

🔹Routes 202 & 202a🔹

Due to the temporary road closure of a section of Knockfree Avenue (between its junction with Churchfield Hill and the roundabout with St. Colmcille’s Road, Sunvalley Drive and Gurranabraher Road), from 5 May to 15 June 2026 inclusive, Routes 202 and 202A southbound services to Mahon will not operate via Churchfield Green bus stop 236911 or Churchfield Hill bus stops 236921, 236931 and 236941.

An alternative temporary bus stop will be available on St. Colmcille’s Road at Gerry O’Sullivan Park in addition to existing bus stops 236901 on Harbour View Road and 236951 on Gurranabraher Road.

For the duration of the works, the services will continue southbound (to Mahon) on Harbour View Road, turn right onto Baker’s Road and left onto St. Colmcille’s Road before resuming its normal route onto Gurranabraher Road.

🔹Route 214 & 216🔹

Due to a road closure between Frenches Quay and Sharman Crawford Street, services on Routes 214 and 216 will be affected as follows: Night-time closures (8:00pm – 6:00am):

Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May (5 nights)
Tuesday 5 May to Thursday 7 May (3 nights)

Outbound services will not be able to serve South Main Street during the above times.
Services will divert via Western Road, Donovan’s Road, College Road and Gregg Road, before resuming the normal route.
Inbound services are not affected.

🔹Route 212🔹

Please be advised that due to permanent roadworks on Centre Park Road, at its junction with Monahan Road, from 08:00 on Monday 13th April 2026 until 21:00 on Monday 13th July 2026, Route 212 services operating from Mahon Point to Cork Kent Station will be unable to serve stops along Centre Park Road for the duration of the works. Passengers are advised to use the next available stop at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Monahan Road.

Services operating in the opposite direction will operate as normal.

🔹Route 261🔹

Due to roadworks in Ballinacurra, stops 23991 & 237511 will be closed from Wednesday 11th March for approx. 8 weeks.
Stops at Mount Pleasant (244961) & Ballinacurra (244941) can be accessed by passenger.

Route 450
Services on Route 450 Dooagh/Louisburgh will commence and terminate at the Achill Head Hotel in Dooagh. Stop 530241 (Dooagh Opp. The Pub) will not be served.

*** WEST & NORTHWEST REGION ***


Routes 301,302,303,304/A,305/A,306,310
Due to the Great Limerick Run on Sunday the 3rd May there will be significant diversions in place across Limerick City. All city services are operating with diversions but there will be no cross city services.

All 343 services will depart from Colbert Station for Shannon via the Limerick tunnel. There will be no city pickup or drop offs until after 6pm. 

Routes 328, 332, 329, 345 will depart from Colbert Station. There will be no city pickups or drop offs until after 6pm. 



Route 401
Until May 8th (approx.), Route 401 services will not be serving Ballybane Road to facilitate road resurfacing works. The stops at Monivea Park, Ballybane Shopping Centre, and Rahylin Glebe will not be served from Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:00.


Route 405
Until May 8th (approx.), Route 405 services will not be serving Ballybane Road to facilitate road resurfacing works. Route 405 will terminate and commence from St. James's Road. The stops at Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane Shopping Centre and Ballybrit B.P. will not be served from Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:00.


Route 450
Services on Route 450 will depart and terminate in Dooagh at the Achill Head Hotel. Stop 530301 (Dooagh Pub) will not be served.

>>> Route 100X ,101X ,109A service inbound Dublin Temporary Bus Stop Relocation from Monday 27th April 2026 until March 2027.

We wish to advise customers travelling on route 100X, 101X, 109A of the temporary relocation of the bus stop service inbound to Dublin:
Impacted stop: The Point (stop 7399)
Alternative stop: North Wall (stop 7611)

We wish to advise customers travelling on route 101 of the temporary relocation of the bus stop in Balheary Park (Stop 3731 from Dublin to Drogheda and Stop 3750 from Drogheda to Dublin). 

The bus stops will be temporarily relocated a few metres ahead to facilitate the works progress.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

>>> Route 107 Nobber Agricultural Show - Sunday 17th May 2026

Please note that Route 107 will experience service disruptions between 09:00 and 19:00 on Sunday, 17 May 2026, due to the Nobber Agricultural Show.

Impacted stops:
-stops 131731 and 137881 (Nobber) will not be served
Alternative stops.
-stops 12502 and 12503 (Kilmainhamwood)
