Route 270:
15:00 ex Killarney to Skibbereen is cancelled.
15:00 ex Skibbereen to Killarney is cancelled.
16:00 ex Killarney to Kenmare is cancelled.
16:50 ex Kenmare to Killarney is cancelled.
17:40 ex Killarney to Kenmare is cancelled.
18:30 ex Kenmare to Killarney is cancelled.

Due to an RTA, all services on Route 270 ex Skibbereen to Killarney will terminate at Kenmare after 15:00. All services ex Killarney to Skibbereen will begin operating at Kenmare after 15:00.Updates to follow via Bus Eireann website.

Routes 243 & 248:
Road closure Rathpeacon Road from Monard Lane to Bride Bridge

Daily Closure: 09:30hrs to 16:00hrs

From Mon. 9th June, to Fri. 13th June, 2025 incl.

Customers are advised that to facilitate Road resurfacing the a section of the Rathpeacon Road will be closed for the duration above.

As a result the 243 inbound will serve Sluggara Cross, Rocky Road, Station Road before turning on to the R617/N20 and then left at Fitz Boreen before continuing on normal route. The same diversion will be operated in reverse.


The 248 will operate via Dublin hill in both directions on the 07.05, 16.10 and 18.00 services ex Parnell Place



Services for the 243 can be accessed at bus stops at Sluggara cross (629991) inbound and on the Old Mallow Rd (255151) inbound.

Normal to North Ring Rd, then right to North Ring Rd, left onto Clonard/Ashgrove View (behind Dunnes stores); left onto Ballyhooley Rd; left onto Lower Dublin Hill; left onto Ballincollie Road; right onto Glenheights Park; left onto Glenthorn Mews to terminus

207A Inbound:

From Glenthorn Mews turning left onto Glenthorn Drive; right onto Glenheights Rd; left onto Ballincollie Rd; left onto Spring Lane; right onto North Ring Rd; left onto Glen Ave and normal route thereafter.

Route 248: 18:50 Glenville/Cork

Operate as normal to junction with Lower Dublin Hill; left to Lower Dublin Hill, right to Ballincollie Road; ahead to Glenheights Road; left to Ballincollie Road; left to Spring Lane; right to North Ring Road; right to North City Link Road; right to Brother Delaney Road (at Blackpool Shopping Centre) right to Redforge Road and then as normal Route.

We wish to advise customers travelling on our services that resurfacing roadworks on Thomas St and Barker St in Waterford City will affect routes W2, W4 and W5 from Monday 30th June until Tuesday 1st July 2025.

The following stop will not be served (W2, W4, W5):

>> 360A Bus Stop Relocation

Tesco stop 353431 on the 360A has been moved further back by 50 meters due to roadworks until further notice.

>> Clock Tower stop 352011 Temporary Relocation from the 22nd of April for approx. 4-6 Weeks.

We wish to advise customers travelling on routes W1, W2, W3, W5, 354, 360, and 360A Waterford City of the Clock Tower stop temporary relocation due to the ongoing works at the Quay. The Stop will be temporarily relocated approx. 50 meters from the current stop (South Quay).
