ROAD CLOSURE – ROUTE 212 Monday 5 January 2026 – Friday 6TH February 2026 (24 hr Closure)

Maryville / Cork City Council have advised of the following road closure.

Road Closure in place between 09:00hrs on Monday the 5th of January and 18:00hrs on Friday the 06th of February from its junction with the Blackrock Road to its junction with Monahan Road to facilitate large scale ESB Ducting updates. As a result Route 212 will operate via Blackrock Road for the duration of the closure and will not serve Maryville.

Please be advised that due to roadworks in Thomastown from 12/01/2026 to 23/01/2026, the following stops will not be served between 18:00 and 06:00hrs:

>>> Routes NV1 and NV2 Permanent Bus-Stop Relocation from Monday 8th December (Removal of Kennedy Road stops and new stops on Paddy O’Brien St)

We wish to advise customers travelling on routes NV1 and NV2 of the following change to the drop-off and pick-up bus-stop on Kennedy Road in Navan Town.

Routes NV1 and NV2 will operate to/from new bus-stops on Paddy O’Brien St. These changes will become active from Monday 8th December 2025.

Bus Stop Number on Paddy O’Brien St for routes NV1 and NV2 (to Gainstown):

Bus Stop Number on Paddy O’Brien St (Opp Eason) for routes NV1 and NV2 (to Dunville Road/Clusker Park):

>>> Route 168 Disruption 08/02/2026

Please note that there will be a disruption to services in the Eastern Region on Sunday, 8th February 2026, due to the annual 5km road race in Clogherhead.

As a result, the following services on Route 168 (Dundalk–Drogheda) will be affected and will divert at Hacketts Cross, operating via Callystown and Rath Road before rejoining the R166 in both directions:

Affected services:
•10:45 and 12:45 Drogheda to Dundalk
•10:45 Dundalk to Drogheda

Stops not in service:
•Drogheda to Dundalk:
        Stop 108651 – Clogher, Main Street

•Dundalk to Drogheda:
        Stop 108681 – Clogher Village (Southbound)

Hacketts Cross stops (St Michael’s Church and opposite):
Passengers travelling to Hacketts Cross should board at the junction of Hacketts Cross and Callystown Road.
