Safety is of paramount importance to everyone at Bus Éireann.

We are committed to ensuring that our business activities are carried out with due regard for the safety of all our customers, our drivers, and other road users.

Our modern fleet is equipped with numerous safety systems and undergoes regular preventative and regular maintenance checks year-round.

Our drivers are carefully selected and undergo extensive training before they are allowed to drive. They are all required to possess and maintain a Certificate of Professional Competence.

Belt up. Be safe. Cúir ort an crios. Bí slán. Your safety is more important than your luggage. Is tábhachtaí do shábháilteacht ná do bhagáiste.

All staff including Drivers are subject to our Alcohol and Drugs Policy.

Our vehicles are fitted with CCTV for your security and protection.

We carry over 80 million passengers across our services each year. It’s a commitment we take seriously, where your safety is our greatest priority.

Please take time to look at our safety advice.

There are many things you can do to help us keep you safe during your journey.
