Please note the following Service Disruptions for the South Region on Thursday 10/07/2025:

Route 245:

18:30 Fermoy to Cork Cancelled.

Route 51:

17:25 Cork to Galway will be delayed by 20 minutes.

Routes 220 & 220x:
All services operating to and from Crosshaven are currently experiencing delays for approx 1 hour.
Routes 220, 220x

Emergency Road Closure Crosshaven

Customers are advised that due to emergency repair works, R612 Crosshaven will be closed to traffic on Thursday, 10th July, from 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs approx.

As a result, Route 220 and Route 220X will operate on a diversion route via O’Leary’s Cross; Myrtleville Cross; Church Bay Road.

To access services please go to temporary stop location at base of Church Bay Road.

Routes 31; 214; 245 – Diversion

Weds. 25th June to Sun. 17th Aug., 2025, incl.


Due to roadworks in Glanmire, diversions will be in place on Routes 31; 214; 245, from Wednesday, 25th June to Sunday, 17th August, 2025, inclusive.


Route 214 outbound from CUH/Cork City will operate via Church Hill, Castlejayne Road, Barnavarna Hill to Riverstown Cross, then as per normal route to terminus at Glyntown Road.

Route 214 inbound from Glyntown Road will operate via East Cliffe Road and Glanmire Bridge and left to Glanmire Road.

*When wishing to travel to Cork City/CUH please note that inbound bus stops between the junction with East Cliffe Road and Hazelwood Road will not be served. Customers can board at outbound stops for travel to Cork City/CUH.

Route 31 outbound from Cork will operate via Church Hill, Castlejayne Road; Barnavarna Hill to Riverstown Cross and then as per normal route. Inbound services will follow the normal route to New Line and will then operate via Marwood Avenue and Glynwood Road.

Route 245 outbound from Cork will operate via North Ring Road (Silversprings); Old Youghal Road and Barnavarna Hill, turning left to Glanmire and as per normal route. Route 245 inbound to Cork will follow this diversion in reverse order.

Route 245 – the following bus stops will not be served:

Please go to bus stops from Riverside Cross onwards to access Route 245

Please go to bus stops prior to junction with Church Hill; bus stops from Riverside Cross onwards or bus stops on Hazelwood Road, New Line, Marwood Avenue, Glyntown Road to access Route 214.

Bus Stop Closed – Clontarf Street

Customers are advised that due to roadworks at the location, Clontarf Street Bus Stop (247811) will be closed from Thursday, 10th July, 2025, for approximately two weeks.
