Route 401
The inbound bus stop at Caesar's Palace in Salthill is closed for a short period from 4th February. A temporary bus stop will be in place outside the bank of Ireland.


Route 405
From 18th to 20th February, Active Travel works along Ballybane Road and Castlepark Road will result in diversions. Services on Route 405 will not serve St. James Road and will instead divert via Walter Macken Road. Maps may be viewed on at www.galwaycity.ie.

*** EAST & SOUTHEAST REGION ***

Routes: 2, 131 and 133, Please note the following service disruptions in the Eastern Region due to safety-related landscape management works on the N11 between Junction 7 (Bray South) and Junction 11 (Kilpedder).

The works will take place from Tuesday 3rd February to Saturday 28th February, Monday to Friday between 21:00 and 06:00, and will be delivered in two phases.

Phase 1 – Southbound Closure
Tuesday 3rd to Friday 13th February (21:00–06:00)
N11 Junction 7 to Junction 11 – Full Closure
Buses will be assisted between Junction 7 and Junction 8 to serve Kilmacanogue.
A diversion will operate in line with the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and will apply to all affected routes.

Routes 131 and 133

Stops not served
• Stop 102302 – Kilmurry
• Stop 102311 – Glenview

Alternative stops
• Stop 6000 – Kilmacanogue
• Stop 4640 – Kilpedder Grove

After serving Stop 6000 (Kilmacanogue), buses will use Junction 8 and follow the R755 to return northbound on the N11. Services will continue to Junction 7 (Ballinvaltrim), where the diversion begins on the R768.

The signed diversion continues through Greystones to Eden Gate, then via the R774, rejoining the N11 at Junction 11 (Kilpedder).

Route 2 (ex Dublin) will not miss any stops but will also be required to follow the diversion between Junctions 7 and 11.

Phase 2 – Northbound Closure
Monday 16th to Friday 27th February (21:00–06:00)
N11 Junction 11 to Junction 7 – Full Closure

The diversion for Phase 2 is the reverse of Phase 1.

Diversion route:
N11 J11 → R774 → R761 → R768 → N11 J7
Buses will be assisted to serve Kilmacanogue.

Stops not served
• Stop 4237 – Kilpedder
• Stop 106261 – Glenview
• Stop 106271 – Kilmurry

Alternative stops
• Stop 4533 – Kilmacanogue
• Stop 4239 – Glenview Park

Route 2 (ex Dublin) will not miss any stops but will also be required to follow the diversion between Junctions 11 and 7 during the closure period.

We wish to advise customers travelling on our services that the Little Blue Heroes 8K Night Run taking place in Dublin on Wednesday 18th February, with road closures in effect approximately from 18:30 to 22:30, will affect the following routes:

• Will operate as normal

• 2499 stop S O'Casey Br, Docklands will not be served. Inbound services during the event window will terminate at Gardiner Street.

Services from Navan
•111771 stop Abbey Street / Irish Life Mall stop will not be served.

We wish to advise customers that the celebration of the Fireside Stories Event will take place in Maynooth impacting traffic between 17:00 and 21:00 on Saturday 31st January 2026.

We ask customers planning to travel to check our website as potential disruptions to services operating to/from Maynooth.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time as potential disruptions to services are expected.

>>> Routes NV1 and NV2 Permanent Bus-Stop Relocation from Monday 8th December (Removal of Kennedy Road stops and new stops on Paddy O’Brien St)

We wish to advise customers travelling on routes NV1 and NV2 of the following change to the drop-off and pick-up bus-stop on Kennedy Road in Navan Town.

Routes NV1 and NV2 will operate to/from new bus-stops on Paddy O’Brien St. These changes will become active from Monday 8th December 2025.

>>> Route 174 Disruption from 12/01/2026 to 31/01/2026.

Due to planned roadworks, the outbound Route 174 service from Dundalk (Bus Station) to Grange Drive will be diverted daily from 12th January to 31st January between 09:00 and 17:00.

>>> Route 168 Disruption 08/02/2026

Please note that there will be a disruption to services in the Eastern Region on Sunday, 8th February 2026, due to the annual 5km road race in Clogherhead.

As a result, the following services on Route 168 (Dundalk–Drogheda) will be affected and will divert at Hacketts Cross, operating via Callystown and Rath Road before rejoining the R166 in both directions:

Affected services:
•10:45 and 12:45 Drogheda to Dundalk
•10:45 Dundalk to Drogheda

Stops not in service:
•Drogheda to Dundalk:
        Stop 108651 – Clogher, Main Street

•Dundalk to Drogheda:
        Stop 108681 – Clogher Village (Southbound)

Hacketts Cross stops (St Michael’s Church and opposite):
Passengers travelling to Hacketts Cross should board at the junction of Hacketts Cross and Callystown Road.
