Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Thursday, 9th April 2026.

Due to the fuel cost protests, several routes nationwide are experience considerable delays. 

There are slow-moving convoys and a barricade in Sligo town affecting all services. In addition, there slow-moving convoys on the N18 (Ennis Road), starting in Bunratty heading towards Limerick.

10:05 Galway to Cork - cancelled.
10:25 Cork to Galway - cancelled.
11:25 Cork to Galway - cancelled from Shannon Airport to Galway.
12:25 Cork to Galway - cancelled.
13:05 Galway to Cork - cancelled. 
13:25 Cork to Galway - cancelled from Shannon Airport to Galway.
14:25 Cork to Galway - cancelled.


Route 64
11:45 Sligo to Derry - delayed by 1 hour and 20 minutes.
12:00 Sligo to Galway - delayed by 1 hour and 10 minutes.


Routes 343 and 51
Due to a slow-moving convoy on the N18 (Ennis Road), starting in Bunratty heading towards Limerick, considerable delays are expected for the remainder of the day.

12:50 Scariff to Limerick - delayed by 1 hour.


Route 458
11:10 Ballina to Sligo - cancelled. This service will commence in Sligo at 12:41 to Enniskillen.

14:25 Letterkenny to Convoy - cancelled.
