Service updates

Please note the following disruption to our services in the western/north western region on Tuesday 7th July 2026:


Route 301
Father Russell Road is also closed due to road works from Monday 6th until Friday 10th resulting in these stops not being served. The last stop will be St.Nessan's School. The return service to Westbury will also start at St.Nessan's School as per the timetable.


Route 302, 303
Due to a concert taking place in Thomond Park tonight, delays and diversions are possible. Road closures should take place from 4pm, however bus access may be retained for as long as the Gardai deem it safe to do so. 


Route 332
The R505 between Doon and Cappamore has now reopened and service has resumed as normal. Tomorrow, 8th July, the road will again be closed between 10am and 1pm. There may be diversions in place again and the Doon stop may not be served as Limerick County Council are maintaining local access only.

The R506 between Murroe and Newport is currently closed. The stops at Dromsallagh, Murroe, Cappanahanagh, Newport and Shower can not be served for the remainder of the day as well as Wednesday 8th July between 2-5pm.


Route 343
16:40 Limerick to Shannon - cancelled.
18:00 Shannon to Limerick - cancelled.


Route 422
11:45 Castlebar to Headford - service will terminate in Cross, Glencorrib and Headford will not be served, due to roadworks.
13:05 Headford to Castlebar - service will only operate from Cross at 13:17, Headford and Glencorrib will not be served due to roadworks.


Route 440
11:45 Athlone to Westport - delayed by 1 hour.


Route 450
From Monday 6th July until Wednesday 8th July, road resurfacing works will take place in Dooniver Village and road closures will be in place. Doonivor National School stop (553161) will not be served.
