Service updates

Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Monday, 27th July 2026.


Due to the Galway Races traffic related delays and some curtailments are expected in the city before the first race and after the last race.

Route 401
Services on Route 401 will terminate at Ballybane Cottages (523381) and commence opposite the Clayton Hotel (523461) between 15:30 - 17:30.


Route 409
Services on Route 409 will terminate and commence in Doughiska at Briarhill Shopping Centre (stops 524241 & 524261) at the following hours between 15:30 - 17:30.


Routes 420, 422, 440 &456
Due to the Mayo GAA homecoming event in McHale Park, Castlebar services will be affected by significant delays.


Route 450
14.45 Dooagh to Louisburgh will be approximately 20 minutes late departing.
14.35 Louisburgh to Dooagh will be approximately 20 minutes late departing.



Furthermore, this evening, services on Route 409 will terminate and commence at the Galway Tech Park stops (555431 & 635561) from 20:20 to 22.20.
