Road Closure affecting Cork Routes 220 & 225

Cork County Council has advised that in order to facilitate works, Ferney Road, Carrigaline, will be closed to traffic from 7am on Monday, 13 January until 3pm on Friday, 17 April 2020.

As a result Routes 220 and 225 will operate as follows:

Route 220 from Cork City: services will operate as per normal via Kilmoney Road Upper to junction with Rose Hill when it will then turn right to operate via Rose Hill; Fuschia Avenue to junction with R612.  Services to Crosshaven/Camden will then operate as per normal Route.  Services for Carrigaline, will continue to Lidl roundabout to return to R612.

Route 220 to Cork City will operate this diversion in reverse order.

Route 225 will operate as per normal via Church Hill, Carrigaline.  At the junction of Church Hill/Ferney Road service will follow Route 220 diversion via Fuschia Avenue to R612 and normal route thereafter.

Temporary Bus Stops will be in place on Fuschia Avenue to accommodate customers.
