Leap Card

You can now use your Transport For Ireland (TFI) Leap Card on all Bus Éireann Public & Expressway services within the Republic of Ireland. Cheaper than cash, safer, and more convenient, the TFI Leap Card is available from the Leap Card website or from over 650 locations around Ireland.

On all Public Service Obligation (PSO) city and town services and commuter & rural services operated by Bus Éireann, Adult Leap single fares are up to 30% cheaper than cash single fares. Young adults* (19-25 years), students* (16-18 and 26+ years) and children (5-18 years) may now avail of half price single fares when purchasing Leap single tickets on all Bus Éireann public services.

TFI Go App

The TFI Go app allows you to buy Adult, Young Adult/Student* & Child tickets directly from your phone for all Bus Éireann Commuter, Local, City & Town public services in the Republic of Ireland. Your ticket is downloaded to the app and can be used to travel straight away. No need for printing, just activate before each journey and show your driver while boarding.

*Please ensure you have a valid TFI Young Adult / Student card when purchasing Young Adult / Student fares and can show it when inspected during your journey.
