Road Closure affecting Cork Routes 208, 220, 233, 237 and 239
Cork City Council have advised that Western Road outbound, between O’Donovan’s Road and Gaol Walk in Cork City will be closed to traffic to facilitate emergency resurfacing works:
- Wednesday, 11 August from 19:30 to 06:00
- Thursday, 12 August from 21:00 to 06:00
- Friday, 13 August from 21:00 to 06:00
As a result Route 220 and 233 outbound will operate as follows: on Western Road, at junction with O’Donovan’s Road, services will turn left to operate via O’Donovan’s Road and then turn right to College Road, and continue to junction at Dennehy’s Cross, continuing ahead to Model Farm Road and normal Route thereafter.
Routes 208, 237 and 239 outbound will operate as normal on Western Road to junction with O’Donovan’s Road, taking left to O’Donovan’s Road and then turn right to College Road, continue ahead to junction at Dennehy’s Cross; take left turn to Wilton Road and normal Route thereafter.
